SEP 4 - ARRIVE IN SHANGHAI
Upon arrival, we meet our guide and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight: Disney Toy Story Hotel (3 nights)

SEP 5 - SHANGHAI DISNEY DAY ADMISSION PASS

SEP 6 - SHANGHAI DISNEY DAY ADMISSION PASS + VIP EXPERIENCE


SEP 7 - FULL DAY SHANGHAI CITY TOUR (L, D)
This morning, we will be picked up from Disney Shanghai and begin our full day tour of Shanghai at the old quarter near Yu Garden. Walking past alleyways lined with shops, tea houses and restaurants, we explore Yu Gardens, which was built in 1577 and hidden behind carved brick walls decorated with undulating dragon walls and lovely lotus pools. Enjoy some free time exploring the bazaar near the Yu Garden before lunch at a local restaurant followed by some free time at the Bund Area. After dinner at a local restaurant, we will enjoy an traditional acrobatic show at a local theater.
Overnight: Broadway Mansions Hotel, Deluxe Room (2 nights)

SEP 8 - SHANGHAI CITY TOUR (B, L, D)
Enjoy another full day tour of Shanghai at the Shanghai Museum, the old French Concession, and Xintiandi. Built in 1994, the stunning museum can be seen as a completely new approach to museum design in China. The exhibits in ancient Chinese bronze, ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, jade, Ming and Ch’ing (Qing) dynasty furniture, coins and ethnic art are fantastic. Xintiandi is a newly developed recreational area in Shanghai with up- market restaurants and shops and filled with visitors to Shanghai. From there, you will have some free time exploring Nanjing Road before dinner at a local restaurant.

SEP 9 - SHANGHAI FLY TO BEIJING (B, L, D)
Enjoy a morning at leisure in Shanghai. Later this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Beijing. On arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before checking to your hotel. Later this afternoon, you will stop at Jinshang Park for a sunset view of the Forbidden City. After dinner, enjoy a guided walk of a local night market.
Overnight: New Otani Chang Fu Gong Hotel, Superior Room (3 nights)

SEP 10 - BEIJING (B, L, D)
At 9:00, we depart the hotel for a full day tour of Beijing, which begins at the Tian’anmen Square, the largest public plaza in the world. Next we visit the Forbidden City, the best-known image of Imperial China built by more than 200,000 workers in the 5th century during the Ming Dynasty. 

At the end of the tour, we join a local family for a dumpling making workshop followed by lunch. After lunch we will proceed to the centuries-old hutongs (including a rickshaw ride), the ancient quarters of Beijing, for a fresh insight of Beijing’s local life. Enjoy a special Peking Duck dinner at Dadong Restaurant. We will be transferred back to our hotel at the end of the dinner.

SEP 11 - BEIJING (B, L, D)
We will depart the hotel at 8:00 for one of the highlights of the tour: visiting the Great Wall. Enjoy a photo stop at the Bird’s Nest, which is the National Stadium, and the Water Cube, the National Aquatics Center. Next, we visit the Minority Museum. Our last but not the least stop will be the Mutianyu Great Wall, (including the round trip cable rides) the only man-made object visible to the naked eye from space. At the end of the tour, we travel back to Beijing and enjoy a visit to the Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of 15th century Ming Dynasty architecture built for important rituals for the emperors. Next we join a Taichi master and practice this ancient Chinese exercise. Found in the mid-1600, Tai Chi, or T’ai Chi Chuan (supreme ultimate fist), is designed partly to provide relaxation in the process of body-conditioning exercise. After dinner at a local restaurant, we travel back to our hotel.

SEP 12 - DEPART BEIJING FOR TOKYO (B)
ARRIVE IN TOKYO


We check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Tokyo. On arrival, we meet our guide and proceed for a half day city tour of Tokyo. We star our tour at the Tokyo Tower, a symbol for Japan’s rebirth as a major economic power. It is now serves as a television and radio broad- cast antenna. Next, we transfer to our hotel at Maihama, arriving at 15:30.
Overnight: Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel, Standard Room (3 nights)

SEP 13 - TOKYO DISNEY SEA OR LAND DAY PASSPORT (B)
Group members must choose one of the parks (either land or sea) in advance.
Transfer to Disney on our own.
No guide or bus service included today.


SEP 14 - TOKYO DISNEY SEA OR LAND DAY PASSPORT (B)

SEP 15 - DISNEY RESORT – TOKYO (B)

We meet our English speaking guide for a 6 hour day tour of Tokyo. We first explore the Outer Fish Market of Tsukiji. From there, we visit Meiji Shrine followed by a top at Harajuku & Omotesando areas, world famous as Japan’s center of street fashion. We come back to the hotel at around 15:00 and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight: Keio Plaza Hotel, Superior Room (2 nights)

SEP 16 - FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING IN TOKYO (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we depart with our guide and coach for another full day tour of Tokyo. Our first stop is Imperial Palace East Garden. Home to Emperor Heisei and other members of the Japanese Royal Family, the Imperial Palace sits on the land that was once occupied by Edo Castle. It became the official imperial residence in 1868. Next we have a sushi making workshop at a local restaurant followed by lunch. After lunch, we visit Asakusa Sensoji Temple followed by a Sumida River Cruise. We then travel back to the hotel for a break. We walk to a nearby local restaurant for our farewell dinner. At the end of the dinner, we will walk back to the hotel.

SEP 17 - DEPART TOKYO (B)
Today we will be transferred to the airport for our flights home.
